RESORT 2027 SHOW

A return to the beach.
Between the cliffs at Tamarama Beach as the sun rose over the Pacific, COMMAS presented its Resort 2027 collection at Australian Fashion Week 2026.
The collection loosely takes its cue from cricket whites, the v-neck sweater, the worn linen shirt, the pressed trouser, pulled through the Australian coast, where formality loosens and clothes get lived in.
Tailored linen and raw silk in bone and sand sit alongside open-weave crochet, fine cricket-knit ribbing trimmed in ink, hand-knit Japanese wool, and hand-loomed ikat in terracotta and deep green.

Woven raffia hats and bags, hand-stitched leather and suede footwear, and custom necklaces in distinctive colour and texture, the accessories speak to collaboration and hand-craft. Each made one piece at a time, from South-East Queensland to Sri Lanka and Spain.
The result is a collection that is layered and materially rich.
