SPRING SUMMER 2020

A collection inspired by Anthony Minghella’s iconic 1999 film The Talented Mr. Ripley and its sublime precursor, René Clément’s 1960 classic Plein Soleil.

The colours of the dramatic Italian coastline informed the palette, and was where the collection was eventually shot, the clifftop town of Ravello on the Amalfi Coast.

Hand-sketched columns and faces reference the Colossus of Constantine in Rome, while hand-painted wine bottles feature on the swim shorts and camp collar shirts; inspired by a beautiful memory from travels through Europe.

To accompany the collection Arman Naféei — director of ambiance to the Chateau Marmont — created a playlist based on Gabriel Yared’s jazz soundtrack for The Talented Mr. Ripley, featuring rare and original recordings sourced around LA, including records from Hugh Hefner's private jazz collection.
